Kuwait Investment company "KIC" Announced its participation in the " Kuwait Financial Forum " which was inaugurated by His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad and was attended by National Assembly Speaker Jassem Al-Kharafi, Kuwait Central Bank governor Sheikh Salem Abdul-Aziz al-Sabah, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ali Al Ghanim, Head of the Kuwaiti banks Abdul Majeed al-Shatti and senior state officials and representatives of economic and regional and international financial and governors of central banks and monetary institutions and heads of boards of directors and chief executives in banks and other financial institutions. Kuwait Investment company was keen to participate in this forum emphasizing the importance of such events in the global financial crisis, which changed a lot of approaches and policies that have underpinned the economic and financial trends in the world in recent decades and, despite the continuing effects of the crisis and the onset of some signs of recovery on the global economy is currently being placed in this important forum on how to rebuild a financial system based on the lessons and conclusions that were drawn from the crisis, especially that most Arab countries are affected by the repercussions of the global crisis, particularly the deterioration of financial asset prices and falling oil prices and shrinking funding and liquidity.
