The Organizing Committee of the first Ramadan Football Tournament, which is organized by the Kuwait Investment Company during from March 24 to April 4 for those born in 1978 and before, has completed preparations for the tournament.
During the past period, the "committee" turned into a restless workshop to put the final touches on the final preparations, to continue organizing an exceptional Ramadan tournament similar to the previous tournaments organized by the Kuwait Investment Company with unparalleled success.
The General Coordinator of the tournament, Mejren Al-Loughani, confirmed that, based on the instructions and directives of His Excellency the Minister of Information and Culture, and the Minister of State for Youth Affairs, AbdulRahman Badah Al-Mutairi, it was decided to hold the tournament at the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Sports Complex, as well as broadcast it by Kuwait TV.
Al-Loughani pointed out in a press statement that the contract for the 32 teams participating in the tournament has been completed, indicating that the Kuwait Investment Company is working to satisfy all age groups, after it had previously organized tournaments for juniors and youth.
Al-Loughani pointed out that the closing ceremony of the tournament will witness many surprises, especially in the presence of responsible and public figures who have been invited, and the organizing committee draws their approval, explaining that these figures will hand over the cups for the first three places, as well as the prize rewards for them, amounting to 1200 KD and 800 KD and 500 KD.
For his part, the star of the Kuwait national team and former Al-Jahra Club player, Wael Suleiman, appreciated the names of the Golden Age players and others for the teams participating in the tournament, stressing that this gesture deserves appreciation from the organizing committee, especially since these players gave Kuwait a lot, and raised its flag in international forums, so The masses are still chanting their names.
