Kuwait Investment Company: Two employees obtained the "Certified Compliance Manager" certification from the Kuwait Association of Accountants and Auditors
Kuwait Investment Company has said that two of its employees have obtained the "Certified Compliance Manager" (CCM) certification with remarkable excellence from the Kuwait Association of Accountants and Auditors. This certification fulfills the professional requirements of such supervision authorities as the Capital Markets Authority, Central Bank of Kuwait and State Audit Bureau.
In a press release issued on the occasion, the Company has said that the Senior Assistant Manager of the Office for Following up the Supervision Requirements and Anti Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing at the Company, Khaled Abdulmajeed, occupied the first position in the qualification program conducted by the Kuwait Association of Accountants and Auditors during the period from 25 September to 13 October 2016. Another Company employee, Sara Essam Al-Assoussi, officer at the Office for Following up the Supervision Requirements and Anti Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing at the Company, also obtained the same certification with excellence. Both candidates of the company to join the program have successfully passed the qualifying test for obtaining the certification with excellence.
The Kuwait Association of Accountants and Auditors Certified Compliance Manager program is the first of its kind in the State of Kuwait, as it provides national professional certification that focuses on developing the skills and capabilities of individuals in supervisory compliance and qualifies the trainee to perform this important function which has become increasingly important in light of the increasing number of supervisory and legislative instructions in Kuwait.
