Kuwait Investment Company has announced its participation in sponsoring the Small Projects and Trades Exhibition held at the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the Ministry of State for Youth Affairs during the period from 16 to 18 October 2017.
The Exhibition was opened by the Under-secretary of the ministry of youth, Sheikha Al-Zain Al-Sabah and the Deputy Chairman of the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce & Industry , Abdulwahab Alwazzan. They both listened to a thorough brief about KIC and its support for small projects, particularly the Maker Faire – Kuwait.
Kuwait Investment Company's participation comes within the framework of the company's strategy related to CSR initiatives, particularly those pertaining to trades and small and medium businesses and youth projects.
Participation in this exhibition also forms part of the company's plan to work on marketing the Maker Faire-Kuwait 2018, distributing Maker Faire Booklet to the participants of the Small Projects Exhibition through the Company's booth in order to give them an idea about the Maker Faire and the method of registration and participation for they are the targeted segments for participating in Maker Faire-Kuwait 2018 Exhibition.
Sheikha Al-Zain Al-Sabah lauded KIC's participation in the Small Industries Exhibition and the prominent role of KIC in organizing key exhibitions, particularly Maker projects in Kuwait and the region.
In turn, Mr. Abdulwahab Alwazzan, Deputy Chairman of Kuwait Chamber of Commerce & Industry also lauded the keen attitude of Kuwait Investment Company of insisting on participation in exhibitions that support Kuwaiti youth and KIC's continuing initiatives in support social responsibility activities.
It is worth mentioning that Kuwait Investment Company makes every possible effort to support the youth small projects including Maker ideas and projects in which they have had a strong presence and their innovations and creative work which needs to be adopted in order to bring the desired fruit, including projects and ideas that participated last year in the Maker Faire Exhibition. Driven by this desire, the company has assumed the commitment to support and back the Maker projects as well as small projects in participation and cooperation with government and private companies and establishments, particularly through the holding of the Maker Faire Exhibition in February of every year.
